I feel much more grounded now.
What a terrific weekend this was, weather-wise. We took walks around the block and I took some more photos of the fall colors. As a result, I moved the four pics in the previous post that were in Flickr “Misc Set” to a new set called “Fall Colors 2006” which includes the new photos from this weekend. What I really need is to take the camera for a drive down Tennessee or Kentucky Street. Those make for a marvelous view. Some folks have Halloween decorations up, a couple of which were a hoot. If you take a look at the entire set of Fall Colors 2006 shots, you’ll see what I mean. |

|Besides taking photos of the fall colors, I used the camera’s “video” feature to make some clips to capture sounds to go along with the scenes. There was a wonderful breeze making the trees even more “alive” with movement and the sound of the wind rustling the leaves was something that competes quite admirably with the sound of a surf breaking on the beach. Additionally, some of the trees were chock full of roosting birds making quite a racket; including the cottonwood tree in the back yard. If I can get it right, the photos at the right will link to a clip of the trees blowing on Brush Creek Dr., and to a clip of Becky and me trying to startle the birds in the cottonwood. The effort was futile. If you play the clip, by the way, I will tell you now there is no dog.|

|What a relief – back to Standard Time.
