Let’s see, since the last time I posted an article we’ve had Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas, Hannukah, Kwanza and New Year’s, plus some others that escape me on account my particular ethno-centricity. Out of all those events, I’d have to say Christmas was the most eventful and memorable. Whew, what a stomach flu! Aside from that, I seem to recall a trip to California’s Bay Area.<\/p>\n

I could, of course, write several hundred words about the trip, the visit, the relatives, the events, but I think I may have to break it up into additional articles. I spent most of the day today (Saturday Jan. 6 – not sure what date stamp will show up on this) offloading image files from the camera’s memory card to the computer, and then going over them with a bit of cropping here and rotating there, and then uploading them to my Flickr account<\/a> where they are, for the time being, designated as “private” so only the chosen few to whom I’ve sent the magic URL can look at them. <\/p>\n

I also edited and stitched together some video files that I took with the digital camera, to make a three minute “movie” that y’all can watch by clicking here<\/a>, assuming your computer has Windows Media Player or some other program capable of playing “.wmv” files. It’s a “mere” 7.4 MB in size, so it’ll be helpful if you have a broadband connection. <\/p>\n

After all that, it’s a bit after midnight, Becky’s gone off to bed, and I’m about to go that way myself. But, I couldn’t call the day’s work complete until I got the movie uploaded and got the announcement thereof posted; not that anybody will be wanting to check any of that stuff out until sometime tomorrow, I imagine.<\/p>\n
