Joseph Clifton Ardrey

Joseph Clifton Ardrey, born April 20, 1897, son of Margaret Virginia (a/k/a Isa) Liter Ardrey and William G. Ardrey. This photo would be circa 1918. Clifton was a volunteer with the 137th Infantry from March 24, 1917 to April 14, 1919, and was stationed overseas during WWI. He fought at the battles of Argonne Forest and St. Mihiel.
