Evelyn’s 80th Birthday
|Last Saturday (Oct. 7) was Evelyn’s (Becky’s mom) 80th birthday. Family members gathered at Wellsville Manor for a birthday party. Evelyn was in good spirits, and we had a good time visiting with everybody. I took some photos you can see at my Flickr account. It was also a very nice day. Once in a while here in Kansas we have a day of weather that’s as good as can be found anywhere in the world. It’s rare, but it happens.|

A couple days ago I noticed some interesting (to me, anyway) colors as I looked toward the back yard. You can click on thumbnails below and choose among several sizes to look at, and/or see them in the “Fall Colors 2006” set on Flickr. You might enjoy re-visiting the other pictures in that set; I always do. A couple of them never fail to bring a smile no matter what’s got me down at the moment. You’ll know which ones.
