Happy New Year
|Happy New Year, everybody! Becky and I were just out for a walk in the balmy 66 degree weather. One of the things I noticed was all the green grass. As I recall, grass is supposed to turn brown or something in winter. Hasn’t happened yet. I even spotted a couple of robins a couple days ago. Becky says some of them don’t leave in the winter. Other than walking, we’ve been watching a little football. Kansas City won their game but missed the playoffs. |

Happy New Year…just got the presents last week! It was Christmas all over again! Thanks for sending them along. Steve’s in Dallas this week…says it’s beautiful there. He’s at a conference for his new company and will be home on Wednesday, but now I know how you two feel…it’s pretty miserable at home without him here! I will hopefully spend some time with Kimmie tomorrow, and at least get some Chappell influence.
I think we must have swapped weather systems…it will be about 20 degrees tonight and only get up to about 40 tomorrow….Brrrrrr!

Hey, thanks for posting a comment! The general lack of Chappell family interest is something I’ve had to overcome in finding the motivation to (1) post anything myself and (2) install upgrades to the blog program. Speaking of which, the upgrade from ver. 1.5 to 2.0 is still awaiting my attention. However, I’ve been using up much time figuring out other systems (known as Content Management System) for a new website “client”. One thing’s for sure, it’ll be pretty hard to top the Steve & Kathie Wedding Website!
Incidentally, Steve and Kim are both “registered” to log in and post articles (not just comments). If you’d like, I can register you, too and send a user name and password. Of course, you can always log in as Steve, if he’s shared the login with you. 😎

happy new year! i think i can still say that, even though it’s almost February. I miss the weblog, I’ve been out of touch. Articles will be posted soon! Or at least one article will.
It’s beeen really cold here at night too. I hung out with Kathie while Stephen was gone, we went climbing. I’ve never been so sore after climbing as that time. Woohoo!
