Home Again Home Again
Wow. So after ten years of averaging less than a trip per year back to Kansas, there’s a very good chance I will be returning 3 times this year. May, July, and September. Why? you ask. I’m asking myself the same question, but there was the coincidental convergence of a friend’s graduation from law school, my ten year high school reunion (why they planned this for July, of all times, I will never understand), and finding a girlfriend I’m excited about introducing to my parents and best friends in the midwest. Anyway, that’s all for now – I’ll post trip updates here as they happen.
Jiggety jig.

Well, oops. So now I’m down to at most 2 trips. May trip got cancelled. Kathie will be coming with me to reunion on July 9/10 (though she’s not excited about experiencing “stupid hot”). September is still up in the air.
Kathie says:
Ah, yes…the “stupid hot” phenomenon. This relates back to the days when there were really no methods to measure temperature. Indeed, when it was hot, it was hot. When it was warm, it was warm. And when you were in Kansas in the middle of July, it was stupid hot. When you were in Kansas in August, it was stupid ugly hot. And finally, when you were in San Francisco during the summer, it was freezing. Can’t wait to see baby pictures of Steve…seeing as my mother and father have already told embarassing childhood stories to both Steve and Kim…revenge is at hand. Mua ha ha haaaa!
