Just Out Of Curiosity
Usually the first thing when I wake up (or try to wake up) is I check the clock to see what time it is. This morning, though, I didn’t bother.
Often, while I eat breakfast, I watch the TV to see what the weather is going to be, and if there is any news of note. This morning, though, I didn’t bother.
Generally, when I get to the office, I head for the message machine to see who wanted to talk to me before I got there, and whether it was anything important. This morning, though, I didn’t bother.
As a rule, after I’ve checked messages, I hit a few keys on the computer to call up the email program so I can find out if there are any new email messages I should be concerned about. Today, though, I didn’t bother.
Usually, when I realize I’m behaving a bit oddly, I wonder why. Today, though, I didn’t think twice about it.
Just out of curiosity, is all.

Maybe your head just needed a break. Hopefully you don’t feel as if you missed anything and you feel just right.
Often I would like to take back the time I spent listening to the messages and checking the email. But that’s just me needing a new direction.
Have you thought twice about it yet?
